Introduction to Evolution
April 19, 2019 - April 22, 2019.
You will create a timeline to represent geologic and biologic events throughout Earth's history. You will be given a list of events to organize using prior knowledge and common sense to organize the occurrences.

One Wrong Letter
You will start the class by watching the video clip: One Wrong Letter. It highlights Tay Sachs Disease.
After the video, you will work individually to test your understanding of the lesson taught over the past two days.
Individual Activity:
You will work to transcribe the mRNA from a given DNA strand and then translate the message to produce the protein.
You will also examine locate the mutations on the subsequent strands of DNA and determine the effects of the mutation.
The assignment can be found on page 471 of the BSCS Biology book that was checked out to you at the start of the school year. Answer questions 1- 6.
