Day 5 Welcome Week. September 4, 2020

If you are logging on for the first time, read through the previous posts.  

Today's Zoom meeting is optional.  It will run from 9:45 - 10:45 and will be for all my classes.  

Again, log into Google Classroom and download the vocabulary worksheet posted there. Be prepared on Tuesday to discuss the scientific language assignment.

Welcome Week. Day 4. September 3, 2020

A Canvas link has been added.  Once in Canvas, click on announcements the code for Google classroom is saved there.

Scientific Language

Scientific vocabulary is made of root words that are linked to have different meaning.  Learning the root words will help you to understand the meaning of words that would otherwise be difficult.

The sheets with some common prefixes and a few scientific words have been posted in Google classroom. Review and guess the meaning of the words listed.

Remember to write you name on the form for attendance.

The Canvas link has been updated.  Follow directions below to access the Google classroom code.

Click on the link to Google classroom to view today's assignment.  Participation will be used to take attendance.

The code for Google classroom can be found by clicking on the link for Canvas. Click on the assignment tab on the left of the page. The page opens, then click on the words Google classroom to display.

To access the Google Classroom Code, click on the Canvas Link and then click on discussion.

Welcome Week Day 2 - September 1, 2020.

Please fill out the form listed in Google Classroom.  It will be used to take attendance.  In addition, there will be a Zoom meeting at 9:45 AM today.  The link is also available in Google Classroom.
