Photosystem 2: The Water Splitting Photosystem, absorbs photon and splits water into oxygen hydrogen ion and electrons.  The electrons are passed down the electron transport chain releasing energy that makes ATP by combing ADP and Phosphate. 

The electrons lose their energy but is again energized by photon absorbed by the NADPH making. photosystem.  The electrons pass down the electron transport chain this time making NADPH
